It has to be said re: Hughes/ Mario Williams

Jerry Hughes is the best pass rusher on this team. I will be LIVID if he isn't re-signed.

While Mario didn't contribute anything today, he also didn't take 30 yards in 2 personal foul penalties like Hughes did either.

That unsportsmanlike penalty on Hughes was complete BS. The guy does go offsides at least 1-2 times per game, though.

Right, that first penalty on Hughes was a ****ing joke. The second one is new NFL, hard to do anything about that. you have 2-3 foot area to hit these QBs.

The first one he got for slapping HIS OWN TEAMMATE on the back, the second he got b/c a NE lineman shoved him into Brady.

I hope there is a bigger effort to keep Hughes than there is to keep Spiller this off season.

I'll take an occasional off side penalty in exchnage for Mario's disappearing act.

Mario Williams makes his presence known once or twice a game, then disappears the rest of the time.

They double team Williams a lot. When he is not doubled, he's getting pressure, but Brady made plays under pressure.

No team has double teamed Hughes yet, not even RB/TE chips.

Brady said that he hadnt seen that type of first step since dwight freeney. Would love to see him opposite chandler jones if the bills dont resign him

Mario does a lot more than rush the passer, he will never live up to his contract but he does all of the other things pretty well also. Hughes has flourished in both Pettine's and Schwartz's defense, and as of right now is the better pass rusher, no question. He may be looking for a huge payday pretty soon.
