All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Jarius Wynn eating into Mario Williams' snap count
Jarius Wynn eating into Mario Williams' snap count
this is somewhat surprising. How does this bode for Mario after this season? How can they justify paying that salary for a part time player?
Mario Williams is the Bills' $100 million man, but he hasn't been on the field quite as much in recent weeks. While Hughes played 53 of the Bills' 67 defensive snaps, Williams played just 39 of those snaps and Jarius Wynn had 30 snaps. Wynn is making a push for more playing time with how well he's played this season, and on Sunday he forced Williams to the bench.
Re: Jarius Wynn eating into Mario Williams' snap count
I don't know if he's "eating into" Mario's playing time, or if he's playing well enough that they can afford to give Mario rest, and not have him wear down towards the end of the season.
Kinda funny how we give up the most rushing yards all season when Mario plays the fewest snaps all season. Just sayin'
People (Certain Zoners) only care about how many sacks Mario gets. They forget, or don't care to acknowledge that he's very good vs the run as well. He's not Jared Allen. He's a 3 down DE that can stop the run, and can do it pretty well.
Re: Jarius Wynn eating into Mario Williams' snap count
I think Mario has been fantastic. Is he worth 100M no? But there might be 2 players in the league who are. He's disruptive and he's become a leader. I am totally fine with us spelling him to keep him fresh. I've become a big fan of his.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Re: Jarius Wynn eating into Mario Williams' snap count
I don't see any problem here. Wynn is playing well. Mario is playing well. Let them rotate so they are fresh and have a better chance of staying healthy.
Is Mario living up to his salary? Eh, probably not, but we are so far below the cap that it's an irrelevant point. His salary isn't keeping us from signing or re-signing anyone.
Re: Jarius Wynn eating into Mario Williams' snap count
The bills are in the bottom 3rd of TOP. as the injuries have mounted up on Defense, it probably makes sense to rotate where you are afforded a chance to rotate.
people who think mario hasn't been a huge upgrade over previous DL are kidding themselves. the team made a splash to stay relevant and may have overpaid. but the sacks on the team since he came and his own production
Sacks:
2014 - #1 in league with 24
2013 -#2 in league with 57
2012 - #18 with 36
2011 - #27 with 29
Mario started on the team in 2012 and his sack totals were 10.5, 13.5 and 5.5 in 2012, 2013 and YTD 2014. amongst his highest production levels. and Kyle williams has been at career highs of 5 in 2012 and 10.5 last year. Jerry hughes who had 5 sacks in 3 years with INDY has 20.5 in 1.5 sesaons.
Re: Jarius Wynn eating into Mario Williams' snap count
I think Mario makes everyone around him better. Yes, they overpaid but they did not have a choice if they had any chance to sign him. I just wonder if they will need to cut Marion to extend Hughes and Dareus.
I am hoping with Pegula owning the team, thus a few changes in the FO will make Buffalo a more attractive place for free agents.
