    Any Word on Kiko?

If I understand the rules correctly, the IR non-football related injury label works exactly like the PUP (just an injury that is not football related). Kiko, if healthy, would have been eligible to begin practicing with the the team just after the NE game. It was at that point the Bills began a 3 week grace period to be able to activate or send him to IR. By my calculations the Bills have a little less than 2 weeks left to force their decision. Not sure how the BYE week plays into the rules.

I honestly didn't think he had a chance in hell to be back this early but someone in the Bills FO was obviously being hopeful.

Does anyone have a different understanding? Has anyone heard anything about Kiko recently?

I don't see them taking a chance. A thorough rehab is important with an ACL tear. If he were to damage the repair, it may never heal properly. It takes about a year for a ligament to reach max strength which is about 70 - 80% of its original strength.

I hope they're not dumb enough to bring him back this year. ACL really is a two-year recovery before you get back to 100% (or close to it).

The man/myth/legend just needs to make a full recovery. I fear what this defense is capable of with him, Bradham, Brown, and maybe Spikes.
