Sam Reinhart (http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/r/reinhsa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&utm_source=direct&utm_medium=linker-sabrenoise.com) skated in his sixth NHL game last night against the Anaheim Ducks. The only reason that Sam Reinhart is still wearing the blue and gold of the Buffalo Sabres is he is holding a roster spot for the injured but close to recovered Patrick Kaleta (http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/k/kaletpa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&utm_source=direct&utm_medium=linker-sabrenoise.com).
Kaleta has rejoined the team – he is that close to returning, but Ted Nolan (http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/n/nolante01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&utm_source=direct&utm_medium=linker-sabrenoise.com) puts his return back at a couple of weeks. Reinhart has three games remaining on his NHL tryout, and that could likely put Patrick Kaleta close enough to returning when the Buffalo Sabres return to First Niagara Center.

The Sabres have three games left in their road trip, two more games in California, and a stop in Toronto before facing the Bruins back at the First Niagara Center. Could Ted Nolan be looking at a return to the ice for Patrick Kaleta against the Boston Bruins?

He needs another year in juniors. That's fine but he has work to do.
