Deion Sanders knew he wanted to host an outdoors show as far back as Super Bowl XXIX.
"If ESPN won't give me my own fishing show, ESPN2 will," the former Florida State and NFL star said to the media before the 1995 championship game.
Sanders, who returns to The NFL Today on CBS this fall, got his wish this week when ESPN named him the host of The New American Sportsman, which debuts Sept. 8 at 10 p.m....
