Rookie signings are at such a slow pace in the NFL that the Browns are resigned to holding three days of training camp practices next week without their seven draft choices on hand.
"If we don't have enough guys to practice, maybe we'll just hit 9-irons at the other end of the field," Butch Davis joked yesterday.
Davis will hold three days of practices for rookies only beginning Tuesday. The full team practices for the first time next Friday....
