The bigger question is how many times in the past 15 years have we beaten teams among the three or four best in the league. I don't know, but out of our 95 wins since '00 I'm guessing you can count them on one hand.

He gets the ball out quickly, though, on the short slants, crossers and outs and that has been this D's weakness (maybe even by design). The difference between Denver, GB and NE is most teams will end up making a mistake somewhere on a drive when they are forced to dink and dunk down the field, but those three are machines and do it better than anybody. If we have any chance at all winning any of those games, Schwartz is going to have to come up with a scheme that doesn't focus mostly on stopping the run and the deep ball but gives away the short stuff in exchange.
