Nolan takes scene from movie miracle and skates team from board-to-board at practice

Vogl tweet...Yesterdays practice looked like something out of the movie "Miracle", remember the part when Kurt Russel (Brooks) lined team USA at one of the end of the ice and kept saying "again", Ted Nolan put the Sabres through an extended board-to-board skate at the end of Friday’s practice in BB&T Center, where the Florida Panthers host Buffalo tonight. “I just believe if you want your team to work hard, you’ve got to work your team hard,” Nolan said. “Ever since we started doing that, we started getting better results.” by the way the Sabres have Brook's and Team USA's assistant coach that defeated the Russians "Miricle on Ice" in their front office as team advisor Craig Patrick.

my asst coach played goalie for Army. He insists on the goalies doing the conditioning skate with the whole team.
