Leads the league in punts dropped inside the 20 yard line.

Quietly a very good pick-up.

He's had a good season so far, Schmidt/Carpenter >>>>> Moorman/Lindell. Specials teams is yet another area that Whaley and the front office deserves credit for upgrading.

His name is Colton Schmidt, for those who were wondering.

and even though I hate having to waste the roster spot Jordan Gay has been a great kickoff specialist too.

And they go for it on 4th and 6th early in the game rather than use that advantage and try and pin them back. Man this coaching staff is stupid

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Marrone hasn't punted from the opponent' 40-midfield since he was 'called out' by AW a few weeks ago, I believe.

Lost amongst all the hoopla with FistPumpGate etc, yesterday was a real missed opportunity by ST's (I believe it was the 14 yard punt) When the cover man squeezed inside away from our gunner, leaving him all alone on the wing. A quick snap and toss out to the flat and big yardage was there for the taking. The gunner knew it, but after being ignored moved inside also to help block.

Teams need to be prepared to react when presented with gifts like that.

Fire Doug Whaley and the whole college and pro scouting department they suck and never find any good players. Guys like Brandon Spikes, Kiko, Preston Brown, Corey Graham, Jerry Hughes, Sammy, Robert, Chris Hogan, Bryce Brown, are just so so average players and any GM could have made those moves. Just terminate them and fire the whole coaching staff and while we are at it might as well get ride of a bunch of our young guys like Dareus, Gilmore, glenn, Bradham because they suck too.

So, being eliminated again works for you? The status quo is all good? Having **** for QBs is cool, in your opinion? After all, winning isn't everything, right?

No it is not but I want to be consistently good not sell the farm to get into playoffs and then suck for another decade.

The front office has done an excellent job making this a very talented team that is 7-6 against a tough schedule despite crappy qb play. They have drafted well and the coaching staff is developing players which is very important.

I really like the sammy trade and when All is said and done I think beckham and sammy will be best of first rounders. I think k Evans and Benjamin are flash in the pans like several other big tall Wrs.

All that said we are a vastly better team than last year and depending on the offseason the future is bright. Also need to get some new qb blood in here but it is slim pickings again.
