All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Not a fan of his at all and think that comment is stupid. I can kinda understand a player saying that but not a coach. Makes him just sound like a dbag coach

I think Manziel will be a cancer in the locker room. As much as we suck at QB the more I see this guy the more I don't like him and glad we did not pick him.

The title was about me jacking with him and calling him that.
It takes all kinds. I really don't care what Marv would do, although he probably would have compared him to Audie Murphy. Marv had a slightly dry, intellectual sense of humor.
Other coaches are more vociferous.
My coaching style and comment would be "I don't care who plays QB, be it Hoyer or the midget, we are going to kick their ass regardless".
one comment doesn't erase the years of terrible calls by marvin lewis.
that said, i wouldn't make that comment unless my team was on fire. if my team was kind of middling, this kind of statement against a division rival just has a way of backfiring.

That's the thing. Manuel being a dick aside, you don't lower yourself to his level, especially if you're a coach. Especially if you're a talentless coach. (see what I did there?).
