Chuck Knox was a three time Coach of the Year. Won division titles with 3 different teams. Made it to 4 Conference Championship games (which he lost).
    Marrone has a 14-16 record.
Other then their run 1st approach where is there a comparison?

"Ground Chuck" is one of the best nicknames of a coach in all of sports.

Christ...the biggest game coming up in ten years, and people want to talk about the offseason and everything else they can think of.

Why don't you break down the Oakland defense for us?

Well, I do see a similarity in the Bills between the ground Chuck era & Marrone's Bills.

Before Knox got to Buffalo the Bills were TERRIBLE, the joke of the NFL.

The Bills were FUN to watch again when Knox took control of the team.

The Bills won the AFC East in his third year as HC.

Before Marrone, the Bills were mediocre, but not as bad as they were before Knox.

But I do enjoy watching this Bills team. Remains to be seen if Marrone can win a Divison title his third year.

                I DOUBT it.
