Gawd, I don't like rooting for Harbaugh, but we need the 49ers to pull this one out.

Yanno, I honestly like rooting for Jim and dislike rooting for John. I think San Francisco is one of the few teams I have no grudge against.

Gore's having a helluva game already and it's still the first quarter. Damn Miller and that red zone fumble, it should be 14-0

Sometimes having no pressure helps a team win. Hopefully the niners feel this way tonight.

ok i guess 49ers win

i feel for rivers has no one to run the ball and no one to throw too but that was a bad pick

Every year the Chargers start out hot, I think this is the year Rivers is going to make a deep playoff run. No way I would have thought they were going to collapse again this year, but they definitely are. This game is far from over tho.

Here's why you don't want Kaepernick. About to get sacked and he one-handed the ball wagging it around. Should be tucking it in and take the sack. Now it's a TD. Just horrible.

Unreal steaming pile of horse****.

At some points in the game, I was paying more attention to the refs than the players. Gotta hand it to the Chargers for converting TWO 4th down plays on the final drive of regulation. That 49er fumble on the first drive of overtime really pissed me off horribly.

Great to get that last flag in on the final play though.

Cannot believe it.

About right.

Dunno what needs to happen between the Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals though.

Not much of a chance even if the Bills win out probably now.

Need 2 of Bal, SD, or KC to lose one game while the bengals lose out to den and pit and need pit and us to win out.

Are you saying that we would win the tiebreaker with the Ravens?

CoolBreeze
12-20-2014, 10:45 PM
Two options in my opinion assuming we win out

1) Between CIN, BAL, PIT, hope that 2 of them lose out.

2) PIT beats KC, KC beats SD, Baltimore loses out.

I hate to say it, but San Diego behaved more like a playoff team than we are. I can't see the Bills doing that to stay alive. We don't belong in the playoffs yet though I wish we did like everyone else.

We just aren't good enough, though I wish we were. Those teams are earning their shots, we blew too many of them this year and earned the couch ticket.

GingerP
12-20-2014, 10:53 PM
I can't believe that just happened. SF rushed for 355 yards... and lost. That is mind-boggling.

2 of them CAN'T lose out, since Pittsburgh plays Cincinnati in the final game.

I guess we really have to root for Pittsburgh to beat the Chiefs tomorrow. And also for the Bengals to lose to Denver...Manning is questionable. Such a scenario would take care of the Bengals and Chiefs. In other words, the Bengals need to lose out, and the Steelers need to win out. Could happen.

2) PIT beats KC, KC beats SD, Baltimore loses out.

Again, we have to root for Pittsburgh, unless I'm wrong. I don't think I'm wrong, though. Pittsburgh needs to win out.

Pit beats KC this week, and then KC beats SD next week. I get that.

What I don't get is the Ravens scenario. I don't suppose we'd win in a tiebreaker with them. They play the Texans and then the Browns. Can't imagine they'd lose both games.

Seems our longshot just got a lot longer after tonight's improbable Chargers victory. That really was unbelievable. Ruined my night.

Right, I'm just trying to figure this thing out.

I think that we need the Bengals and Ravens to lose out.

That's the only way the Bills are in if they win out.

THAT and the Chiefs beat the Chargers in the final game, and Pittsburgh wins out.

I think that's right.

We would have the same conference record so it would be decided by most wins in common games if they each played at least 4 of the same opponent.

We can still make it even if Baltimore wins out.

We need to win out, Cincinnati needs to lose both games AND KC needs to beat/tie San Diego. That's the most realistic scenario, IMO, because I don't see the Ravens dropping back-to-back to Houston and Cleveland.

Yeah. I don't see the Ravens losing to Casey Keenum and Johnny Manziel.

Jesus ****ing Christ...the guy has Michael Crabtree, Anquan Boldin, Vernon Davis, Frank Gore, Mike Iupati, Joe Staley and Anthony Davis on his side of the ball and was gifted three picks by the defense and he can only manage 114 yards passing? Upgrade over Orton my ass, that's just ridiculous. ****ing loser.

Rooting for Denver and Pittsburgh this week, Pittsburgh and KC next week.

Yep. Got it now. Those things could easily happen.

That Chargers win last night still stings, but the Chiefs already won AT San Diego earlier this year in a close game.

If all else falls into place, the real trick would be for the Bills to win AT New England while the Pats are playing for the #1 seed.

Gotta root for the Steelers to beat the Chiefs at 1 o'clock today. I'll definitely be tuning in to that one.

GO STEELERS!!!!!
