"we don't need any guards, I think people are going to be surprised at the guards we have on our roster already".

Isn't our HC supposed to be one?

Orton is getting killed out there. No running game to help him out. All the talk about bringing in a qb next year is not going to help. He's going to end up with Kolb somewhere waiting to sue the NFL for concusions

Give him 2 Guards who can block.

Doesn't take a lunar mission specialist to know we should rotate a TE over to help Henderson against their best D player (Mack)

Isn't our HC supposed to be one?

Sure begs the question doesn't it?

He was a former NFL OL and a NFL OC and that part of our team sucks.

He doesn't have anything to do with the D and it is great.

Everyone on this O-line can go and be replaced by someone in the draft or FA and they wouldn't be any worse.

Guards? The whole ol regressed. Glenn, Woods. They all look like idiots as the season went on. The whole offense sucked even though our HC is supposedly an offensive minded coach? The raiders OC looked like a genius compared to Hackett and co.

Carr looked like the vet and Orton looked like a rookie

I'm not sure Morris is the main problem here.
Hes had success in the past.
I wonder whether this O mess is not all directly the result of the HC's 19th century approach to things.

Henderson is without a doubt the wimpiest and worst RT i have ever seen. We double team Mack with him and Pears, Pears releases to get a blitzer, Henderson for no reason what so ever lets go of Mack entirely. Sack4Mack

When your clueless GM drafts the likes of Kouandjio, Richardson, Henderson and on top of that signs Chris Williams who was one of the worst guards of in the NFL, you know your o- line is in trouble.

Give him 2 Guards who can block.

It's more than that. Wood had a bad game yesterday. Henderson should have been pulled yesterday he was getting killed. And Glenn was similarly bad. That points to coaching like the bullseye on the target.

This team needs fine tuning. If Whaley is kept, he has to show he is capable of fine tuning things. To do this he has to admit he whiffed on Kuoandijo and Richardson and blew that Chris Williams move.

Williams got hurt after 3 games, it's hard to call that a whiff. Richardson was a 5th Rounder and asking one to start is a lot. Kujo struggled but let's not forget that he was coming off a major knee injury and perhaps he needs time to heal. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt to prove me wrong in 2015 and 2016. The same for Trent but of course I'm hoping we take an OG in Round 2 or 3 in the 2015 to help add talent to the position.

Pat Flaherty intrigues me, if the Giants can Coughlin.

Coughlin and Eli are both under contract for the 2015, I'd imagine the Giants give them both one final chance to prove themselves and when they don't handing over the reigns to McAdoo and a young QB (see draft pick in 2015 maybe Conner Cook out of MSU). Yet could see the Giants parting ways for former Bills HC/DC Perry Fewell as a sacrificial goat.

Not saying he's good but the current Jets O-line coach is former Bills O-lineman Mike Devlin. Of course he has more experience as TE coach so maybe Marrone shifts our current TE coach (Greg Adkins) to O-line coach (as that's the position he served at Syracuse with Marrone) and hire Devlin to man the TEs in a PR move.

Coughlin is staying (if that's what he wants).
