All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host. Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.

Why are You Rooting for the Pats???

Bills lose to the Raiders & are eliminated from the playoffs and a good number of the posters are looking forward to a thumping vs the Pats.

Granted the Pats will most likely win, but why look forward to it?

The real contradiction is that most posters are in favor for winning meaningless games even when it cost us the opportunity to draft a prospect like Luck.

So why is this game different? Why are so many of you rooting for the Pats?

This Game has no draft implications and if the Bills should beat someone I would prefer it's the Pats!!!

I am rooting for the Bills to win.

The only theory I can come up with to root for a Pats blow out is if you want immediate drastic change and you believe a blow out will result in that.

I suspect Pegula is going to stay the course next year so a blow out will not cause change.

I was a skull ****ing. I want the Patriots to completely annihilate us and have Brady in street clothes by the fourth quarter. I want the Pats to run up the score, score some more, and blow us out. I would have been okay with Marrone for another year, but YOU DO NOT LOSE TO THE RAIDERS WHEN YOUR PLAYOFF LIFE IS ON THE LINE AND KEEP YOUR JOB.

I'll root for Buffalo to win vs. NE and if it means Tommy Boy will retire after one more SB win then I will root for the Pats to win it all this year and the A-hole and his sweatshirt wearing coach can both retire and ride off into the sunset and clear the AFC East next year for us. There's my run on sentence for the day...

Where else would you rather be than right here right now?

I think the Bills will keep it close for a quarter or two, then someone will make a critical mistake...probably Chandler...and the wheels will fall off, as they usually do.

Throw in a couple questionable referee calls....game over.

I'm thinking 21-17 Pats.

I will watch dispassionately and whatever happens, happens.

What sucks is that if a miracle were to happen and we somehow beat the Patriots, all the fun would be sucked out of the win, because it would be meaningless.

Honestly, I am incapable of rooting for the Patriots, but if/when they win, it's also meaningless--which is, like the above situation, sad.

I'm sick and tired of the on the job training we've been forced to watch. The GM and the coaching staff are raging mediocrities, whose upsides are extremely limited, as evidenced by frequent egregious lapses in judgment.
