All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The first question I would ask is whether or not he can play outside in December. I know he played College at BC, but there's a difference between being good outdoors in college and being good outdoors in the NFL. The guy has played in a dome for more than 50% of his games in the pros.
So, in a league where QBs are hard to find, they are going to trade a guy who has a career 64% completions, over 28,000 yards and a 181-to-91 TD-to-Int ratio.
And he is only 29 years old.
And they would have $26.4M in dead money in 2015 to make it happen.
The reason Atlanta may be able to attract a coach is because Ryan is there. They built their team based on his beting there, with Julio Jones and Roddy White to throw to and Jake Matthews to protect him. Nobody is going to take that job if they are going to deal their QB and start over from scratch.
