He's a TERRIBLE coach. He took a pretty good team that he inherited and progressively got worse every year. From AFC championship to top 10 pick in the draft. Enough already. He has done nothing to make the Jets better. Granted the guy is entertaining but our defense has been better than the Jets the last what 4 years? What would we be gaining? He's and Marrone are one in the same. He's a defensive coach who's defense sucks, doesn't take any more chances than Marrone. Mismanages QB talent and if you think he didn't pull that string on the Tebow disaster than you have to be on something. This would be the WORST thing for this team. I'd take Reich's inexperience in a heartbeat over that blowhard.

Rex did not inherit that team.
He built that Jets team with expensive Free Agents.
The problem was the Jets could not sustain that team because of the expensive FA's it was built upon. -

He built what team? In his first two years they signed who, Bart Scott? Mangini left him in a perfect position to win. And that's why they were able to go to back to back AFC Championship games.

Ryan did inherit the team that went to the AFC championship. Ryan progressively dismantled the team. And they became terrible. Of course, he too was limited by a lack of QB. But, he's not a good head coach. He should never do anything more than be a defensive coordinator.Comment
