This year teams in general seem to be a lot more deliberate about their searches. Feels like for a while each year every team has guys they target, this year everyone's just going around and interviewing some of the same people.

Unfortunately, I think that's because the quality of the candidates is lacking. No top guys out there.

Very much so. It figures we finally grabbed a QB when top candidates were lacking and now need to grab an HC when top candidates are lacking after not getting a top consultant and needing one now that those are lacking too.

I like Schwartz, I really do, but I want him to remain a D coordinator, and I believe he too wishes to remain a coordinator for one more year. I want some one with an offensive pedigree to come in here, with a few guards and maybe even a center that can challenge wood, rebuild this damn line, and get us a god damn running game going - our run game was attrotious last year after week 2. You have a legit running game, and a defense, having a qb just manage the game is a nice way to coast in to the playoffs.
