Re: eagles oc shurmur?
He did well with Bradford, bombed in Cleveland (who doesn't?) and I'm dubious about his last two seasons under Kelly. I like that he has coached QB's, oline and TE, though. I don't actually remember this, but he didn't hire an OC in Cleveland apparently, and had Dick Jauron as his DC. Also hired there by Mike Holmgren, so possibly his name was added to the list after picking his brain?YardRat Wall of Fame

Re: eagles oc shurmur?
My thinking is, can he bring the same offense with him that made Dirty Sanchez look like a legitimate nfl quarterback... if so, can he get EJ to materialize? I have zero concern for the defense as it looks like Schwartz will most likely be staying, and if by some miracle he leaves, the hungry Pepper Johnson has my full confidence in taking over the reins. Fix the damn offense. PERIOD. my three top candidates are Hue Jackson, Pat Shurmur, and a very iffy Mike Shanahan...www.gamersconspiracy.com - where gamers conspire

I don't see what the big problem is. Guys do actually, you know, get better.
Promote Schwartz & hire a good OC.
