I heard this morning on the radio there is some speculation of a Shanny father son train pulling into Chicago for a Shanny Cutler reunion.

Not saying its going to happen but you can see it happening.

Yeah, there's a reason for that.

I read it's because a team isnt obligated to allow a coordinator to interview for another coordinator role for a another team. By interviewing him as a HC, it's just a ruse to see his capabilities as an OC in case we get his father as HC. Not a fan of a Shanny combination regardless.

Shanny in Chicago makes the most logical sense as think I read he's from Illinois. Also they don't have a GM in place so it give Mike the power he seeks and it also reunites him with Cutler and Marshall. I can't see him really wanting to go back to Oakland where he got fired from as a HC in the 80s. Going back to SF might give him the best group of talent though but not sure again if he get the personnel control he would want.
