This may seem insignificant but the previous coaching staff would never have signed a 6'3 299 pound OL.

This to me says they know who they are bringing in as HC and it is most likely someone who runs a zone scheme like either of the Shanahans, Gary Kubiak, Darrell Bevell who could come with Tom Cable as OC.

Again, maybe reading too much into it but why sign a 299 pound OL?

Our whole OL is not the kind of players Mike Shanahan likes. Just another of many reasons he's not coming here.

True but those are the same ones that struggled this season also.

Glenn and Wood would do fine with Shanahan.

We just signed Jeff Tuel to a future contract. Hmmmmm, I think they're hinting on making Hacket HC and Downing OC.
