You should be asking why Russ Brandon hired this guy in the first place. And took two years of your Bills fandom from you.

I particularly like this quote from the article...
"Then, look at the list of quarterbacks leading their teams into the elite eight: Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Tony Romo, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Joe Flacco and Andrew Luck. They are eight of the very best in world at what they do, and there aren't many better ones who failed to advance this far."
And the accompanying picture with that exquisite copy...

Kinda is completely the opposite of your "FACT"....Originally posted by Swiper View PostFACT: Flacco's development has not gone all that well.

Wilson, Flacco, and especially Luck, Newton and double-especially Romo have no business being mentioned in the same breath as Brady, Manning and Rodgers.
Let's face facts...
Wilson and Flacco with no defense = no playoffs, let alone championships.
Romo is a choker extraordinaire, probably the worst because he does it in the regular season as well as the post-season.
Newton has done little to establish himself in that peer group.
Brady and Manning put up god-awesome stats, but neither has won a championship without defense. Their consistency in winning over a lengthy period of time and ALWAYS being a contender sets them apart, however.
Rodgers may be the best of the bunch eventually and still has a chance to prove it. Luck still needs to prove he's not Manning or Brady lite.
That being said, as Swiper alluded to, considering the cluster**** Buffalo has had at QB for so long I would probably gladly take any of them for the Bills except for Romo, and maybe Newton.YardRat Wall of Fame

Re: Best 8 teams in the NFL this year... Schefter quip
The fact is the Buffalo Bills need a real QB, regardless of who the head coach or offensive coordinator or GM or "football czar" may be. The jury is out on the Pegulas as owners until this problem is solved imo. Letting Whaley tell prospective coaches what he is about Manuel is discouraging to say the least.
