Experienced NFL HCs cost $5M/yr these days.

1st time NFL HCs can be had for less unless they are THE hottest college HC like Chip Kelly.

Considering Marrone was getting 4mil per, I don't the issue was spending on the head coach. Relative to what Marrone was making, it's a really fair contract for the team.

I'm always going to be a fan of spending money on a coaching staff. That's when you can hire guys like Jim Schwartz, former HC's who were good/great coordinators. Now just have to see them earn it.
