Rex Ryan will try to hire many of his Jets assts--Thurman, Dunbar, Weeks, McDonald, Lee, maybe Sparano Jr and, possibly, Lynn, per sources.

This is what all coaches do, they hire the guys they've worked with and trust.

They tend to bring players they know too...

So it won't surprise me if David Harris, Jermaine Cunningham, Kenrick Ellis and Dawan Landry are on the roster next season.

As Schwartz is going, it was always likely that Ryan would bring in his own defensive coaches. I see no real problem with that tbh.
Lee hasn't worked with EJ before, and you never know, he might actually be able to do some good with his mechanics/accuracy. EJ isn't the same guy as Geno, and is probably way more likely to actually listen, and try and do things that Lee wants him to do, and continue to work on them, on his own. Geno probably doesn't know the meaning of working on his own.

As to offensive assistants, then son of Sparano is probably a guy who breaks down tape, or something, so that's no big deal. RBs coach I'm undecided about. The Jest have got some decent production out of some of their RBs over the years, and they weren't necessarily big name guys either. If Roman is ok with it, then it shouldn't be a problem. Fred doesn't need any coaching anyway, he just needs to learn whatever system they will install.

Too bad about Donnie Henderson if he doesn't stay. Guy has done an amazing job with Searcy, Gilmore, McKelvin, AW, Roby, Duke, Graham etc.
