    Draft Cardale Jones in the 4th

    I know how this sounds. Don't draft the guy that played 3 games and is trying to strike while the iron is hot, but did you see this kid's arm? His composure? His size and speed?

    EJ was a poor mans Cardale Jones at FSU.
    Jones has the Big Ben body type, the cannon arm strength, and ice blood in his veins.

    The Bills have drafted worse QBs than Cardale (Trent Edwards in the 3rd). Take a flyer on the kid. It won't hurt. Rest of the team is pretty much set and a few o linemen can be had in free agency.

    Let's start the Cardale to Buffalo campaign!

      Gutsy 1st post. Welcome.

      That's my school and I'm burned out from partying last night.. but he's still a redshirt sophomore. I do think he's coming out, since he's a Dad of a 2 month old baby.

      What's impressive in these 3 starts is his ability to drill the ball on the $$ in tight windows. Hits the deep ball with accuracy and the Bills will be running the ball a ton next year. Meanwhile, he's a fresh 6-5 250 lb. monster athlete who is raw as hell.

      Will be interesting to see where he's projected but the Bills have to gamble on at least 1 QB in the draft. I'm biased but still...3 starts ? Recognizing NFL coverages after this small piece of work is a huge jump but he is freakish in build.

      They have to find big Guards early in the draft or FA... but if he's still hanging around Sat. on draft weekend, can't blame those who wish to roll the dice.

        I'd say pull the trigger before the 4th ensure you get him.
        I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"

        He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can         mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

                    I was under the impression that 4th rounder to Philly was for 2016.

                    Chances are Cardale exceeds expectations at the combine, scores a 20 on the wonderlic, and with the limited amount of time between now and the draft he probably stays out of trouble, pushing his value to the 2nd round.

                    If he grades well at the draft, Whaley needs to go full Whaley and roll the dice on the kid!

                          I don't think he'll declare either, and would rather see a larger body of work before pulling that trigger.

                              You're assuming he starts.

                              QB J.T. Barrett was the conference player of the year who got them there before breaking his ankle in the Michigan game.

                              Braxton Miller has 1 year left and was the conference player of the year in 2012 and 2013. He could transfer

                              A little crowded and only one ball.

                              He's going on 23 and may be just riding the bench again... or being groomed as a future starter in the NFL with a paycheck for his family.

                              A unique situation where declaring himself for the draft may actually be the right decision. Normally, it wouldn't.
