He's to interview for the vacant Jaguars offensive coordinator post.

Ha, ha, ha. I hope he doesn't get that either. Quitting on your team should be career suicide in the NFL.

If he gets it just another reason to never draft a Jaguar in fantasy football.

He very well could get it. The people they're interviewing for it aren't really hot commodities.

If that is the case then he isn't getting any hits as an HC. Lol.

Maybe he and Mularkey could get together and start a charity for runaways?

I'm sure this is just what his agent had in mind when they decided to opt out.

Well, if Marrone gets the Jags OC job it will make for an interesting game in London when the Bills play the Jags.

He might as well stop off at some high schools while he's down there & see if there are any coaching vacancies. Doug, just remember this line when applying for a high school job: "Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose"

I'm glad he's gone. If he's considering gigs like that, then he's tarnished. Whatever transpired between him and Pegula must have been a lot nastier than they are letting on. Pegula seems like a class act.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

It's kind of funny and increases the Mularkey comparison. Mularkey fled to Florida as well.

Wow. Interviewing for a demotion with the lowly Jags while WNY celebrates the arrival of Rex Ryan. That's embarrassing. Way to stick it to the Bills, Doug. I'm so glad you're gone.

Hahahahahahaha, man Jacksonville is going to be even worse next year.

I really don't see him getting employed in any actual coaching position in the NFL this season.

He's better off sliding back into the college ranks for awhile.

The Jags might need to get a back up punter. They are going to be exhausted.

Is the next Andrew Luck coming out? Are they trying to tank it for him?

Maybe a long while. There aren't a lot of Div 1 teams a hunting. Turner Gill might need a line coach at Liberty U though.

If he takes a pass this year, his agent might spin it as he was looking for the right opportunity.

Marrone must be pissed that he didn't get asked to be interviewed for the Jets OC position but Chan Gailey did being out of football for 2 years.

Marrone? That name sort of rings a bell. Wasn't he some sort of coach in the NFL?
