Whatever one thinks of Gailey's play-calling and game strategy skills, it takes a certain personality and level of experience and wisdom to deal with pro players. Your "employees" are young with maturity levels all over the map, have been idolized at some level, have a considerable pocketful of jingle, some have grown up in deplorable circumstances, etc.
Of course, college and pro football is very much an old boy's club. Once you're in, you're in. But I think that having the ability to work with the above is a necessary part.Fiat justitia ruat caelum. Noli timere. Laus Deo.
