Fox isn't getting rid of Cutler that's for sure...

It sounds like the Atlanta job is basically down to Teryl Austin and Dan Quinn. That leaves only the Bronco job open and Kubiak is reportedly interviewing for that and I think he gets it.

I don't think Marrone is going to work as a coach this year.

Apparently, Marrone interviewed for the Jaguars Offensive Coordinator position...or offensive line coach. Guess he turned up in Jacksonville, at any rate.

Also, he is going to interview for the Broncos Head Coach tomorrow.

Yeah I just saw that he's interviewing for the Bronco job. Living in Denver I kind of hope he gets the job just so I can laugh at all the local media and fans being like "WTF!?"

It's very tough to interview & have a good answer to why he quit the Bills. One of the standard rules of interviewing is never trash your former employer or co-workers. How can Marrone answer why he quit without doing that after the word came out about Marrone trashing people at 1 Bills Drive? No wonder reports were he bombed the Jets interview. The only honest answer he has is either by trashing co-workers or saying "I thought I had the Jets job". Chances are pretty good he'll never get another head coaching job in the NFL.

That would be awesome for him to get it over Marrone.

"I wanted long-term job security. I already had 2 years left on my contract, but I felt that I had earned more long-term job security than that."

I think that's the best he could make it sound, but when asked to explain further and more in depth, it falls apart completely. He QUIT on this team and ran away with $4 million in unearned cash. That's it.

i feel a little bad for his staff. because as much as they struggled, they could have said, "most of us are coming back." in an environment where even baby steps backwards can get you fired, marrone left a staff that largely should have come back with a few exceptions. now they are scrambling to find jobs in a year they thought the did ok.

tough stuff.

I find it hilarious that Doug is forced to beg for a job on the Jaguars...

Hard to get a job when people know you abandoned your team .
