If the Saints are willing to make a deal, what would you give up to land Drew Brees?

Saints are going to want a 1st rounder, at least. Is Brees worth it?

Nobody knows what the Saints are going to do.

33 TD's, 17 picks, 4,952 yards and a 69% completion percentage in 2014.

Brees' career stats are sick.

One thing that has to be taken in to consideration is the fact that Drew Brees has been very loyal to the city of New Orleans and the Saints.

He might take a pay cut, or restructure his contract to finish his career in New Orleans.

The basic catch-22 with a marquee QB.

They'll restructure. They all have to.

Even if they do restructure his contract, the Saints will be mortgaging their future to do it.

The article fails to mention the other possibility - a trade.

oh boy. give up another first rounder, or more. i guess it depends on how close you think you really are. it would be fun in the short term but if it didnt work boy would that hurt

i guess id be willing to take that chance with this club. yeah id do a first. think theyd go for it?

Kind of makes you feel better about Brees saying he was all about the team when he re-signed. Good luck in Tampa, Drew.

From a PR/fan perspective, trading Brees might cause a riot in New Orleans.

Then they should by all means keep him surrounded by scrubs and continue their descent. Haha, we have a junk QB and don't need worry about it.

These threads putting forth these absurd and most unlikely scenarios concerning QB's and what kind of "deal" the Bills should make are boring and insipid.

Please. Just. Stop.

The Saints mortgage their future every season with Mickey Loomis's salary cap voodoo. They will not be parting ways.

If I posted, "Rex Ryan Will Be The Bills Next Head Coach," a month ago, you would say the same thing in general.

Crazy things happen.

Sign Hughes and than trade him. He's first round value.

This must be the first time you've hung out in the main forum during the off season, huh?

They still have Byrd, so I'm sure the fans are happy about that signing.

Everywhere Byrd plays ends up having a losing record.

Yes. These types of thread are just that.Staubach is in good shape and still has the competitive fire. Maybe we should bring him out of retirement.

About as likely as Brees leaving The Big Easy.
