Under his tenure as OL coach, the Saints sent five players to a combined nine Pro Bowls (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro_Bowl), and tied for the fewest sacks in the league with 96.[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Kromer#cite_note-5) Under Kromer, the Saints line twice won the Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madden_Most_Valuable_Protectors_Award) as the best offensive line in the league (in 2009 and 2011).[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Kromer#cite_note-6)

Does Aaron Kromer have Drew Brees' telephone number?

Doesn't seem to fit the physical type of play Ryan said we would have. The Saints O-Line
has never been considered a physical group.Solari would have been a better fit plus he and Roman have worked together.

He had a good run with the oline in NO.

Well crap, I was praying for Solari.

Being involved with the Chicago mess isn't a selling point. Didn't really look like the Chicago o-line was any good.

Oh well, roll the dice. Crossman looked like junk on special teams and came up just fine. Nothing to be done about it but wait and see how it comes out on the side stage of RexFest 2015.

good varied background. seemed maybe he rose too high too fast, probably fall out from his right place at the right time interim hc status back when bountygate hit the fan. but apparently very qualified as an oline coach

This is One of the guys that threw cutler under the bus to Ian rapoport.

Good hire, I think I would of preferred Solari but Komar is a nice add for this offense.

The big guy that threw them under the bus. But he's standing behind RexFest 2015 now.

Impressive resume.

I wanted this done, prior to the Senior Bowl practices that start next week. Now we have a good set of eyes looking for Guards. Great timing. Get him on the plane to Mobile,Ala with the new staff.

Solari was a Bay area lifer and I'm thinking he was looking to stay there. Buffalo was a long shot and Roman probably knew this.

We should go after Tony Sparano he left the raiders. He would fit perfect.

Kromer was hired by the New Orleans Saints (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Orleans_Saints) in 2008 as the running backs coach, before becoming the offensive line coach the following season. Under his tenure as OL coach, the Saints sent five players to a combined nine Pro Bowls (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro_Bowl), and tied for the fewest sacks in the league with 96.[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Kromer#cite_note-5) Under Kromer, the Saints line twice won the Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madden_Most_Valuable_Protectors_Award) as the best offensive line in the league (in 2009 and 2011).[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Kromer#cite_note-6) Kromer filled in as the Saints' interim head coach for the first six games of the 2012 NFL season (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_NFL_season) as Joe Vitt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Vitt) served his six-game suspension.[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Kromer#cite_note-7)

Kromer was hired by the Chicago Bears (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Bears) in 2013 as the offensive line coach and offensive coordinator, and in 2014, exclusively became the OC.

Foerster went back to the 49ers, takes over Solari's old post. Solari is available to the Bills, but he runs more of a zone blocking scheme after his stint at Seahawks.

The Bills really missed out on both Callahan and Foerster who are considered the best at their position. It's a matter of networking and personal preference.

Yes Cutler is a tool. But your argument makes no sense. Do you want to have a coach that might crap talk you when the chips are down? Generally the types of comments that were made in that Rapoport article are kept in the locker room.

Cutler killed a lot of jobs. He's Jeff George 2.0 and I could care less if our new OL coach spoke the truth. Makes me like him even more. He knew the end was coming and let Cutler have it.

You'd better be eating your vegetables too. If I'm going to use your mom's phrases I'll do it right.

And dump the chew at table, trailer trash, or your brother gets your whiskey. Don't like it, try and take a piece of me, got two more teeth than you do to spit in your eye when I plant my foot up your marbles.

Whoa, those were my mom's phrases, sorry.

He's a huge up grade over Morris. That's all I care about. You got to love all the experience that Rex is bringing here. A big change from past Bills staffs that consisted of a lot of 1st time NFL guys.

No. Rex & Pettine are still friends.

Rex did not want Pettine to take the Bills job because it was in the same division, but he never threw him under the bus.

LOL @ better days making ***** up in his head again.

Ryan is upset with Pettine for going public with information that the Jets coach gave a defensive playbook to Alabama coach Nick Saban and for passing around a rumor that it might have landed in the hands of Belichick in New England. Pettine also said that Ryan passed out his playbook like candy.

Big deal.

That article was more about Belichick & Parcells than it was about Pettine & Ryan.

Ryan has said he & Pettine are still friends. I will take him at his word on that over a reporter.

And if there was anyone throwing someone under the bus, it was Pettine that threw Rex under the bus.

Kromer owned up to what he did...confessed to the team, and that's how we know the things he said. He felt bad and apologized about saying those things because it can be considered a breach of trust, even though he was just telling the truth.

Exactly. Cutler actually shook his head and walked out during the apology.

Not a good story.

I don't know about that.

I heard a Cutler interview where Cutler said everyone makes mistakes & he forgives Kromer, no hard feelings on Cutlers part.

Maybe Cutler is not the Dick some people portray him as. Voted for the Walter Payton award by his teammates.
