All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
both did not yet draft a QB?
Is this done position-wise? I guess so...
Anyway, I am rooting for Carter. Irvin is an off-pushing Cowboys guy. It fits that he did not draft the Buffalo line.
Go Carter!
The Pro Bowl itself sucks. There's no way to play a meaningful, entertaining game of football with guys who aren't going to risk their bodies and have like a handful of practices together.

Well, IMO put something on the line.
AFC VS NFC, winner gets home field advantage in the next Super Bowl.
Just stop holding the game all together. It's a pointless exhibition. Name the teams, let the guys collect their bonuses for that and move on.
I couldn't agree more. If the NFL feels the need to have a tv spot between playoffs and the SB, a 2 hour show highlighting potential high draft picks might get decent viewership.
What happened to the skills challenges? I would watch those for 3 hours instead of the actual football game, those were fun.
Former Patriot rookie RB Robert Edwards got hurt in the sand one year and it cost him his career so they soon stopped it. Well actually that wasn't a skill drill more of a flag football game.

I absolutely agree. Name an all-pro team, give the players a bonus and if they want, a trip to Hawaii and call it good. The pro bowl draft is completely and embarrassingly cheesy, and the game itself blows.
