The Enemies List: Perspectives from around the AFC East

2002-09-13 [The Zone]

The Zone brings you perspectives of the Dolphins, Patriots, and Jets as seen through the eyes of fans of those teams.

The resident Phins fans perspective...

First off....Some surprise comings and goings. Gone - Leon Searcy. This is a bit of a surprise to me. The Phins gave Leon an injury settlement instead of holding on to him. With the depth/injury problems of the O-line we are taking a gamble that someone else does not sign him. If he is still available, we can resign him after week 10. Jets Perspective

Jets All-Pro running back Curtis Martin’s status was upgraded to probable for Sunday’s game with New England after practicing Friday afternoon in Hempstead. But the decision on his game availability is in the hands of New York Head Coach Herman Edwards. Local sources say he is probably going to start but how effective and / or for how long is up in the air. It will be a gametime decision. ...MORE... I dont know how you can call a team that won the superbowl, then is the underdog in both of their first two games, overrated.
