Yes I heard it too on Mike and Mike show.

Maybe there is a white knight there for Marrone, like whoever knows him and is his buddy. How could Shefty be sure Marrone is wanted next year without looking into 2015 season at all? Shouldn't his qualification depends more on how Jags are doing on offense and innovacation from Marrone, as well as how Buffalo does next season under Rex with a more or less the same players?

Jim Schwartz got overlooked as a HC this off season in large part because what people see Caldwell was able to accomplish 2014 season. I guess in a way, the Bills' performance can be a gauge for potential owners who may want to consider Marrone next year.

I'm pretty sure Marrone and Schefter have the same agent. He might just be doing a solid for his agent by saying nice things about the guy.

I heard a rumor (more like a conspiracy) that Marrone didn't actually get asked to interview in Denver, but Schefter reported it to keep Marrone in the conversation. This almost makes more sense to me than Marrone opting not to interview with Denver, that just seems insane.

Just something I read somewhere, probably on reddit, I have no idea the validity of it.

let bygones be bygones.

He came by buffalo and he's gone from any head coaching job. Good for him.

Who?

Doug Malone, big guy, looked like Anthony LaPaglia but more nervous, close with Buddy Hackett.

If that Schefter piece isn't biased, then I don't know what is. Marrone is ego-maniacal. That's what drove him out of Buffalo. Schefter fails to mention that for the first time in their 50 year history the Bills have a new owner. One who has endlessly deep pockets and wants to win. If Marrone was the answer, Pegula would have made sure he was still in Buffalo.

I'm not a huge Pegula fan, but he would have held on to Dougie if he thought he was the answer.

They do have the same agent and Shefter is a weasel, always has been.

Doug went from a up & coming team's HC to an Assistant coach on the worst team in the league, he might as well sat out this season.

An assistant on the 3rd worst team, and Schefter says the jury is still out on his choice, and he knows better than you Mister because he is Adam Schefter.

Agent Jimmy Sexton is one of the most powerful guys in football. Besides Rex, Schwartz, Marrone, Schefter...look at his client list.
