Just heard him (Lucas - now an MSG celeb) doing a live interview on WFAN. Really criticized Idzik for not getting Ryan cornerbacks. But when asked what he thought Rex's biggest weakness as a coach was, here's what he said...

"Rex is loyal to his players to a fault. Parcells was loyal to his players too, but if a player was sucking he would get yanked. Rex doesn't do that. He needs to learn to do that."

Regarding the cornerback thing, Lucas says because Ryan blitzes so much he needed better corners. Idzik was $40 million under the cap and didn't get him the personnel.

I'll say it again...many fans in NY did not blame Rex Ryan for what was going on there.

Yet many Buffalo fans want to run Doug Marrone out when he produced the best record here in years.

Sexy Rexy is guaranteed to do better than Marrone since he is a vastly superior coach with intimate knowledge of the AFC East.

9-7, Marrone should have won at least 10 games.

9-7 is FAIL.

LOL. Ok. The kid's are weighing in. With a QB they would have won 11 or 12 games. And I don't mean Mike Glennon.

Yeah. Given the Bills history, 9-7 for a second year coach with no QB is a failure.

We don't have to worry about running Marrone out of town. He did that all on his own for a lowly offensive line job at a franchise worse off than we are.

I still think Ryan's biggest fault is not having a clue about offense beside the vague "ground and pound". You'd think he'd know what kind of offense he hates to face most and would hire an OC to run it. Unless he just did, in which case he's trying to run an F-150 against a field of Ferrari's on a track made for Ferrari's while hoping there aren't any other F-150's slogging against him.

Lucas sounds a little butt hurt over his playing time.

I absolutely agree with this. Rex defense needs those Island CB's to run properly. The fact that they did nothing to upgrade that spot and everything to downgrade it was pretty perplexing
