Why sign guys who weren't going to come back or who were not part of the long term plans? That's sorta how hockey front offices go. If they aren't going to come back or part of the plan, trade them for assets.

If you have a problem with that, well, that sucks.

I get like that too, I just felt your posts regarding hockey were very negative, and that's unlike you.

I like the trade. A lot. I just hated seeing armia go. He was our best wing prospect. But ya gotta give go get.

This is not rocket surgery. Some of them sucked and we didn't want them back. The rest knew we were rebuilding and were in the latter stages of their career so they didn't want to come back n

Most didn't want to come back, others weren't worth bringing back in a rebuild. Every team makes those types of decisions. It's kinda how hockey decisions go?

yeah, but not at the price of a prized prospect at this point. i would just draft a high profile goalie with our second round pick, personally, at this point. but yes, subban would be really nice to trade for.

Others teams are already calling on him, Naturally drives the price up, And I don't see Boston making that kind of trade within the division for an enigma and a late pick.

Boston will need to replace Lucic and Chara sooner rather than later, Not sure if either guy is in their system at the moment. Spiked????

Halverson looks ok. He likes to make dangerous passes and it finally caught up to him, he shot the puck in his own net a few weeks ago. I guess he has a habit of doing that and many close calls.

Dougie Hamilton will be the successor of Chara.

I think the Bruins will trade Lucic this summer. He has one year left after this season at $6.5M. He will want a 7 year at $7M contract and there is no way the Bruins risk that.

Subban will not be traded for a rental.

I don't like Chris Stewart. He is a floater. He's worth a 3rd round pick. Perhaps a 2nd round pick conditional on him resigning.

Yeah, For a minute there Stewart was being linked to NY as part of a package in a Ryan Callahan trade.

Lets just sat no one in St Louis misses that guy.

I think he has talent, But like Evander Kane, It seems he rather be doing something else other than hockey...Like spend his money.

And the talent falls by the way side...See that happen a lot in pro sports, Money screws people up.

My God!!!!! What a slug fest, Islanders had 18 shots on goal in the first 9 minutes, I was about to bust out my moonshine to ease the pain.

Rangers came within a skate lace of making it 2-2 (wild game 33 shots on net in the 1st alone).....Islanders play the Rangers angry they always have, Now they got skill to go along with that anger.

Rangers better start feeling the same way, The Islanders OWN them so far this season.

As I'm typing this Darren Dreiger is saying Rangers are working on a Zooks contract...So I feel a little better, Bye, Bye St Louis!!

Maybe we could do the tour after Patriots week??
