View Full Version : Kraft Runs The NFL - No Denying It

Eats dinner with Goodell the night before the championship game.

Driving force behind the insane compensation Goodell receives. Buys silence.

Wants a team in London (terrible idea opposed by many other owners). Now NFL teams have to take turns giving up home games to play several games a year there...to make Kraft happy.

Spygate buried..
Deflategate..son to be buried..
RB Blount quits on Steelers..signs with Pats immediately. Tampering ?

Demands an apology. Arrogance of the highest order.

NFL integrity ? Where ? Goodell is a Kraft hand puppet and everyone watching the NFL now knows this. The other owners can't be this dense. Something has to change.

I heard a rumour that the Pats were responsible for the economic decline of Buffalo and Western New York.

Can't be coincidence that the Pats joined the AFL in 1959 and the merger happened in 1970.

Belichick runs Kraft though, so Belichick runs the NFL. Except Josh McDaniels seems to run Belichick, and Brady runs McDaniels, and where would Brady be without Edelman.

Julian Edelman runs the NFL.

Great idea. One possible downside though. Bob Kraft has no connection to Kraft Foods.

People can always boycott his cardboard containers, I guess.

Better yet, we can have our owner begin frackng right next to Patriot Place.

That'll show him.

Edelman routinely runs by my Aunt Dana's doughnut shop during his workouts, occasionally asking my Uncle Steve how he keeps in such great shape at age 67. Uncle Steve feeds him the same Winston Churchill line every time "Blood sweat and toil". Between 1924 and 1929 Churchill was Chancellor of the Exchequer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chancellor_of_the_Exchequer) in Baldwin's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Baldwin) Conservative (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservative_Party_(UK)).

The Baldwin Brothers run the NFL.

Outside of NE the NFL has a serious PR problem. There may be nothing to this but the NFL once was all about protecting the shield and this commissioner seems to have forgotten that

if you want to boycott, you boycott the top 20 advertisers for the NFL. and you let them know that you won't support them while they support a corrupt league.

and you point out that they'll fine the wrong cleats and a TD celebration within minutes, but for beaters and cheaters, it takes forever to know what the league's stance on it.

additionally, at some point, vegas should close down their gambling books next season for hte first week and see how the nfl likes that. They should say, "we set the lines on a fair game, and the nfl doesn't provide that. so we leave ourselves exposed to huge losses. no thanks."

those are the things that will get the nfl nervous, especially if people actually followed throuhg. but they won't.

though i am surprised the sponsors haven't jumped on this for publicity. they did it during ray rice and got some concessions. would think this is a good time to pile on.

It will be interesting to see the backlash at the game. I'm sure some extra boos will be fairly audible.

My point is the other owners may actually open their mouth during the off-season at the meetings and tell Kraft,Goodell they are not pleased with the public focusing on them and believing they represent the general thinking of all the owners. They went through enough with Rice and other issues already and don't need any lingering beliefs that something is wrong with the product and actual integrity of operating as an honest game. I'd be VERY concerned, if I was one of the other owners.

Obviously there are people named Kraft that are not connected to the food industry.
But being he's filthy rich and not some guy working at a hardware store. I incorrectly assumed he was part of that family.

So he owns GP as mentioned above. And Miller Beer plus JJ?

Impressive if true.

Why are the rules different?

And why is the field so big?

I don't really care enough to protest. But I think some of the big money connected to the NFL. Like Vegas, as you said.
should start making some noise. If deflatgate is proven to be true. I think many casual gamblers would think twice about placing bets. I know I don't trust them. But when it comes to big business, I don't trust anyone. So I don't gamble other than little pools, etc.

I guess the sponsors all love Brady and New England fan base.

Sports, manufacturing/packaging and real estate development.

Would have been more fun if he really did own Kraft foods though imho.
