I can't bring myself to pull for the Patriots. However, I do think that if they win, BB and TB may retire sooner than if they lose. Maybe their fire will die a bit if they win.

I'd rather they get trounced today, and booted from the league shortly thereafter, to double-down on the embarrassment.

I'll cut my leg off before I root for the Patriots.

Sorry, but I strongly hate that line of thinking. "Oh, please win, and go away. Or, maybe they won't try so hard if they win." BS. They will try even harder to win some more (and probably cheat, but still.)
And really, that's part of why they remain good. It's weak and contemptible to just hope the lion will grow old or satisfied. The Bills should just get good enough to beat them.

Hypothetical: Would you rather they win and immediately retire or lose and never win the SB again but win the AFC east for the next 3 years?

Also, during those three years, the Bills never make the playoffs.

Hypothetical: I want to see the Buffalo Bills beat the CHEATERS asses starting next year & continue to do that until Brady retires in disgrace.

They are more likely to bail early if they lose...the motivation to win 5 would be too great to ignore.

I'm rooting for the blimp to crash on their sidelines.

And is that wrong of me? I mean, I hope everyone gets out alive except all the Patriots and maybe debris flies over and take out Pete Carroll.

I hope Brady gets broken today.

I hope Lynch runs all over the Pats defense.

Let's GO SEAHAWKS!!

I would rather they lose the SB and dominate the AFC for the next 3 years.

The only reason I hate rooting for the Seahawks is it's going to lead to a bunch of Russell Wilson love and I am sorry but I can't understand why he is getting rave reviews for his play. As if he's not playing with the legion of Boom his record isn't as great as it 's been. He is what I define as a game manager. I mean he had four games this season in which he had zero passing TDs in and he won three of them. That should tell you something right there.

Yes, it should tell you something.

And that is a well Coached team with a great defense & run game can win in the NFL with decent QB play.

I don't see why the Bills can't do that next year.
