Buffalo Bills Ranked #1 - in quarterback desparation

Well it's obvious to others around, not just us I guess.

RANKING ALL 32 NFL TEAMS IN TERMS OF QUARTERBACK DESPERATION

    3. Chicago Bears: They appear ready to move on from Jay Cutler, but Jimmy Clausen certainly isn’t going to be the guy.
    2. New York Jets: Geno Smith isn’t the answer and they’ve got no other prospects on the roster. That No. 6 overall pick should be used in order to leverage themselves a new potential franchise pivot.
    1. Buffalo Bills: They appear to be, like, 99 percent sure EJ Manuel isn’t the answer. And Kyle Orton won’t make the cut. This team is a quarterback away from competing, but they lack a first-round pick.
"You can't be a real country unless you have beer and an airline - it helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need beer."

When was this written and why is Orton even mentioned with him out buying a boat and tackle?

Ridiculous to say the Ravens are more desperate at QB than the Jags or Vikings.

That writer lost all credibility with that ranking.

probably based on them picking a 1st rd qb more recently than BAL.

Yeah, but the Ravens just signed Flacco to a new contract recently & there is no question he is a better QB at least for the coming season.

In QB rankings of course. In this mystical desperation ranking I would think, if Bortles and Teddy turn out, they would be drafting a QB before those 2 teams.

Well, then the Broncos at #26 & the Cowboys at #22 make no sense at all.

Does anyone think the Ravens draft a QB before either of those two teams?

Local radio here talked about the Bills for a while today (why I have no reason in SW FL). They basically touted that Orton's 18 TD / 10 INT's would probably be better than any current FA QB available & EJ would not have accomplished that this past season or near. They basically said that we're pretty much SOL right now.

Ft Myers is a Fins town. I hear a lot of Bills talk from Ft Myers for that reason, being in the same division.

I disagree whith what they said. Orton LOST to the Raiders.

It mentions the jets draft 6th. Why would someone think this is old?

We lost our best current QB to retirement was their point, which is 100% dead on accurate.

No as was said before, they said Orton would not make the cut.

In other words he was not good enough, not that he retired.

The article was probably written after the end of the season & before Orton retired.

Or the writer is so stupid he did not realize Orton retired.

No it was very specific as per us now being up a creek without a better QB option that isn't currently available. Kyle was going to be a much better starter than anything available right this minute, all points to current FA QBs available.

EJ was then focused upon and in all honesty, he's sub-standard by all measurements regardless any stretch of the imagination IMO. They were also quite dour about him, more than everything being normal you would hear here or anywhere.

Well, we can improve to #3 apparently if we give up something for Cutler and pay him a gazillion dollars.
