big move if we can lock him in potential great upgrade. I still think we would need another lineman on the inside

The only downside to Doug Free? His age -- 31.

I remember his struggles at Left Tackle a few years ago was one of the reasons the Cowboys Offense struggled at times. He has had an up and down career, and I don't know if he can be counted on to come to a new team and succeed. He may be better off staying in Dallas and maintaining his current status, rather than trying to adjust to new circumstances. I have a feeling it won't work out if we sign him.

Personally, I think the younger Parnell would be (slightly) cheaper and has more to give than Doug Free.

I'm with you Lex. Free seems like a top end swing player to me. I'm not sure he would make a great impact. Much rather just sign Iupati and roll with Glenn-Iupati-Wood-Incognito-Henderson.

The team voided his contract, so they are probably concentrating on Parnell. Unless you consider his current status to being a backup, and are suggesting he re-sign with them for less money.

Not thrilled to see the Bills have any linemen over 30 years old.

Agreed. 30+ year old free agents only make sense if the team is realistically in win now mode.

Our current RT prospects are very young though. I don't think it would hurt to bring in a vet.

Could Henderson move to guard?
