Hi all,

Its my first time posting to this section.

Like the title says, XS is gone. I have been watching Hockey on there for a few years.

I am looking for a new place to watch Sabres games. Any suggestions?

Write a private message if you prefer.

Thanks

Free CI preview for tonight's game if you have Directv. Beyond that, I would also like to know if anyone knows of any good streaming sites.

Thanks, I'll try them.

The nice part about XS was it worked with the ipad.
I have a old laptop, but it's not as convenient.

I will look into that. Do they black out the home market like the NFL does?
thanks.

But if you get the NBC sports live extra app, you can stream the NBCSN games anyway. I've never looked but I'd suspect NHLN does the same thing.

Thanks guys,

I have used the NBC sports app before.

My son wants to watch the playoffs. So I will probably get the NHL package.

Has anyone used the NHL streaming? Is there a lot of buffering/lag? Obviously it's device and connection speed dependent but I would like to know if it is generally reliable.

Also is there a DVR/rewind feature? For example, if the game started at 7 but I was busy until 8:30, would I still be able to watch the whole game from the beginning?

I'm not sure what the NHL streaming is, But center Ice on your PS3/XBOX or computer, Lets you pause live games, And if you get home an hour after puck drop.

You can start the game from the beginning, And if you missed the game, You can watch a condensed version, Or watch it in full.

You can also pick if you want to watch the game from the home team broadcast or away..

I was looking at NHL Game Center and it seems all the playoff games are on national tv in the US, so they will be blacked out for 48 hours.

Below is from their web site. Am I reading this right? If so most should be on NBC's site, I hope. I will check into that.

National broadcasts – regardless of whether they are available with your cable or satellite package – are not available to watch in NHL GameCenter LIVE™ until 48 hours after the game is complete. In the United States all Stanley Cup Playoffs and Stanley Cup Final games will be nationally televised.
