The Bills need their own version of Gronkowski. A player like that can open up the whole playbook and dictate things on offense.

A player like Gronk installs an attitude and identity. Without him, I don't think the Pats would have won the Super Bowl.

The Bills offense needs a game changing tight end more than they need a running back.

The 2015 NFL Draft is deep with running backs, but not tight ends.

Rumor has it that Rex Ryan loves, "football junkies," like Nick O'Leary.

That's the kind of mean ass, physical tight end I want playing for the Bills. Players don't want to tackle this guy and I can understand why.

At 6'3 and 247 lbs, Nick O'Leary is my pick at tight end.

Clive Walford is good, but he's not going to run anyone over. He plays more like a big wide receiver than a TE.

Maxx Williams is an amazing athlete. Great hands, he is the prototype NFL tight end, but he will likely be chosen well before the Bills are on the board.

While I love O'Leary he will never be a Gronkowski type. O'Leary will carve out a great career as an H-Back type who is a high volume pass catcher but will never be a guy who stretches the field the way Gronk or other high end TE's do in the NFL. He'll be a guy who catches a lot of passes short and gets YAC yardage. Again not a bad thing but i'd be very surprised if he turned out like those guys.

O'Leary or Williams. They work hard and have great hands.

Walford is a tease. Drops too many.

My thought is none of them. They'll take a safety at 2, and none will be available when they grab one lower, a physical rehab project like Pharaoh Brown or a tank H-back maybe like EJ Bibbs.

If I only get one of those 3, certainly Maxx Williams.

One of the others in later rounds, Bibbs. 6'3, 261 with soft hands. Not fast but he's a bulldozer.

Maxx Williams is your best bet. O'Leary is very average in size, and a bit overrated IMO.

I don't think Williams makes it into Round 2. Pass on the other two as top options.

I still like Heuerman.

I still like Heuerman.

He's my top pick. Big body guy with plenty of athleticism and strength. Fantastic blocker in line and I think he's a far better receiver than we saw at OSU. I was disappointed he didn't run at the combine but he can run sub 4.7 in the 40.

I like Williams for what he is, but he's not a perfect prospect. I've only seen two Minnesota games so far from this season (TCU and Ohio State) and they repeatedly tried to force him the ball but he wasn't getting open. Maybe it's just bad quarterbacking. Statistically I see hhe had a good game vs. Missouri but that one is still on the DVR.

Clive Walford I like a lot. The game vs. Nebraska he showed a lot... good blocker and really good hands. He positions his body well in the middle of the field. He's a legit tight end in the Dwayne Allen / Heath Miller mold.

Nick O'Leary reminds me of Dallas Clark. A specialty type guy who is going to play out of the slot a lot and is just too small to be a consistent inline blocker. His hands are ridiculous, though. My wife described him as "like a labrador with a tennis ball..." shows nothing on his face, just all muscle memory catching the ball.

A guy I like who was not invited to the combine is Westlee Tonga. He was underemphasized in Utah's offense in my opinion, but check out the game vs. USC if you have the means and interest to see the potential this guy has. He's big, a pretty good blocker, and has excellent movement skills at that size. He wasn't invited to the combine but he can play.
