Pads will be popping again Saturday at Lehigh University when the Eagles begin another quest for that elusive piece of hardware named after Vince Lombardi.
After consecutive unhappy endings in the NFC championship game, the Eagles find themselves back at the starting line, and they must once again navigate through two-a-day practices in the sweltering heat.
Rookies and selected veterans will report to training camp Friday night and will practice for the first time Saturday. The first full-squad workout is scheduled for a week from Tuesday.
