BTW, IMHO, if we can look something similar to this, this team is at least going to win 30 games.

      How do we get O'Reilly?

Trade a 1st rounder and a low level prospect

I don't think there's anyway you get O'Reilly for that.
Someone posted a proposed trade/rumor that was on twitter that was a high price tag: Grigorenko, Foligno, and a first.

Also, I think they'll play Girgs at center.

McEichel, Reinhart, Girgs is a nice core center group for the top three lines.

You might be right. That might not be enough, but at the end of the day, the Sabres, IMO, will find a way to acquire O'Reilly. We might have to give up a bit, but to get, you have to give.

I realize that is a very lofty prediction. Call me a big believer in the kid. It's possible, maybe not likely, but I'd like to think he can work his way to the top def pairing.

I didn't mean to put him there. Another version of their projected 2015-16 roster is no Ryan O'Reilly, and instead we get Luke Schenn. Sorry, I should've proof read better.

I do think the Sabres have a realistic chance of landing a second line player or goalie due to so many teams in cap trouble resulting in them dumping good players with high contracts.

He's beyond immature and so is his game.

weber and Risto look to be the top pairing next year.

Also, assuming we get McDavid or Eichel, do you really see either one being the first line center in their rookie season?

They're both talented and they will both be first liners one day but not next season.

McDavid, 100% yes. If we draft McDavid, as soon as he steps on the ice the 1st time, he immediately comes the best player we have. Eichel, could be top line center, but TBH, he could be a 2nd line center in his rookie year.
