I'm with you Corey.

I dunno if paying a RB 10m a year is the way to go in today's NFL but you need to acquire elite talent to entice other elite talent to want to come along for the ride.

Here's hoping Shady generates some interest among the players for an NFL caliber QB to want to come play here.

You better tone it down a bit. Bills didn't get anybody yet. Reporters are already saying McCoy refused to come to Buffalo

Ralph was cheap. And the few times he wasn't cheap, he made very poor decisions on how to spend the money.

You are creating a false dichotomy. Being cheap and spending $12 million against the cap for an RB are not the only two options.

And the "not our money" argument is invalid because we are talking about the cap, not actual dollars. The team is only allowed to spend so much against the cap and this signing hurts our ability to fill other positions of need. It doesn't matter whose money it is. Over a third of our cap is gone for one player.

How is $9.75 million over a third of our cap?

Cap hit for McCoy is $12 million. We had approximately $31 million in available cap before the trade. So it's actualky more than a third.

That includes his signing bonus, which Philly ate. And it's 1/3 of our available cap, which we all know is unwavering and impossible to adjust. Jesus, man. Chill.

Yeah, chill. That's what everyone says every time I complain about a move. Yet, the tam continues to struggle on the field....

A third of our cap to 1 player? Isn't the cap like 160 million a year? What are you talking about? Plus he will most certainly restructure.

Not a big accomplishment considering how bad the team was.
