No Kiko wants him on the team, great 3rd down back. Bryce was the #1 recruit in the nation when he originally committed to Lane Kiffin and Tennessee, was widely touted as a Peterson type prospect.. now Kiko isn't saying he will be AP but the dude can ball.

Shady is a three down back that you rarely take off the field. He'll be the face of the franchise so not sure what Brown's role will be here if we keep Freddie Jackson in 2015. Now after that then we might need a replacement and Bryce make sense but not sure how long Brown contract runs.

Why get rid of him ? He's cheap and serviceable.

Fred is 34 and his days are numbered. Love the guy but a new coach is loyal to no one.

Because he's wasting a roster spot that we might be able to use on someone that could help the D or ST. As one thing I hated last season was seeing Brown not dressed on game day. Of course if rosters get expanded to 55 and you could dress each guy I'd be all for keeping him.
