So I guess that's off the table. Time to give Spikes a decent contract and keep him as he was a player that helps you win games.

I don't know why they wouldn't. I thought he played great.

Spikes??

I think Hughes is a bigger issue now with that contract...

Spikes can get that $, I'm guessing but the Bills will sign/draft a LB for sure, whether it's Spikes or not. I'll sit and watch.

Wow at that money, incredibly ****ing stupid to pay an average LB that kind of money.

At least Spikes, before this year, was an elite ILB against the run, and we signed him for chump change.

What does BleedinggreeninNC have to say? And no, spending money for the sake of it isn't a good answer.

Jet's version of Fool's Gold.

Not really. He's not going to accept anything less than 10 million a year so there's no point in worrying about it.

Jet's version of Fool's Gold.

Reliable vet, defensive leader, im glad we kept him. May be a little pricey, but it also stops him from going to the Bills.

How old is Lance Briggs? He's done with Chicago.

Did Rex overplay his hand by moving Kiko? I sure hope he has a backup plan.

AJ Hawk I guess....:(

That logic would only work if he signed with the Bills.

Um I would rather draft an ILB in the third round

I would definitely love to see Spikes back. he is not a 3 down LB, but has proven to be one of the best run stopping MLB's in the league.

I think a rotation of Spikes, Bradham, and Brown in the middle is perfectly acceptable.

No he didn't. Who knows if he even wanted Harris.

The one spot thatWhaley has shown he has an eye for.

Yeah.... $15 million guaranteed is steep for a 31 year old linebacker. I would rather keep Spikes for less. Furthermore, #1 linebacker isn't a huge hole on this team. Depth is needed which can be addressed in free agency and the draft.
