Not a bad take. I certainly agree about a FB - I've been yakking for a pile-driver for years. Re-inking Hughes is a stretch. I don't recall seeing this pundits' name, so I don't know if he is on the Official BZ Hate List. :kid:

Nice read.

Unfortunately it starts with keeping Hughes and I think he's leaving.

If we offer 5/50, do you think he leave still? That seems like a pretty good offer.

I disagree on the depth chart a bit:

QB: EJ Manuel, Matt Cassel (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/552470/matt-cassel), Brandon Bridge

RB: LeSean McCoy, Bryce Brown (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1971914/bryce-brown), Fred Jackson (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1102782/fred-jackson), Boobie Dixon

TE: Scott Chandler, Clive Walford, Chris Gragg (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1632236/chris-gragg), Marqueis Gray

I think that Cassel is the obvious choice at QB at this time.

No way Fred Jackson should be third on the depth chart!

Marquis Gray did a great job at the tail end of the season. Walford would need to earn his way up the depth chart.

I didn't bother with defense since I'm not really sure what the new scheme will look like.

That was a good analysis but think the contract he suggesting we give Ellis is way too much. I'd also prefer a veteran TE vs a rookie as while I do like Walford in the draft I think he wouldn't contribute until 2016 and if we're making an honest effort to make the playoffs in 2015 a veteran TE makes more sense.

Heh - good statement. I'm not sure, either.

No back up center...he's having the same issue I am filling all of the needs and covering all bases.
