Of course, any team that had any interest in Tebow could just invite him to come for a workout at any time without having to wait for the veteran combine. The fact that Tebow has had no such workouts indicates that NFL teams just don’t think Tebow is a good enough passer to play quarterback in the NFL.

However, longtime quarterback coach Tom House told Volin that Tebow has been working hard at improving his passing accuracy, and “he went from being a little inaccurate and didn’t throw a whole lot of spirals, to throwing very accurate and real good at spinning the ball.”

The legend isn't dead yet! bring him in! more competition for EJ!

Shady wants Tebow as 3rd string.

I'd like to play in the NFL too. At this point that's as likely as Tebow playing in the NFL.

If Rex Ryan signs on for that circus again, I'll be convinced he's just trying to rebuild us as Jets West.

I'm sure he does. That's very nice for him. Too bad he can't. That's sad for him.

I've never understood the Tebow hate. The guy is a winner all-around plain and simple. Only QB I know of who has mounted comeback after comeback to lead his team to the playoffs and win a playoff game. Then is shunned for only god knows what. He was EJ inaccurate, I get it. But honestly I don't care, the man wins games. No one can ever deny that.

Rex and the Jets screwed Tebow, though I don't believe they mean't to.

If we find out on March 22 that those rumors are true, and Tebow's throwing darts. Not to mention if he's in good shape, some team will get one hell of a QB for cheap.

If he looks good at the veteran combine I hope Rex or Greg considers it. He fits in the Offense, it wouldn't harm anything to bring him in to contend with Manuel and Cassel for starting QB. You never know we may regret passing on him.

This ended up being false. Tebow didn't sign up for the veteran's combine as many were reporting he would.

Holy revisionist history. The reason Tebow had so many comebacks is because he sucked for the first 55 minutes of the game. He was just lucky to be on a team that was good enough to stay in games for that long despite QB performances that would embarrass JP Losman.

His skill set never translated to the NFL. Yet he got far more attention from the media than many better players, I suspect because the media knew they could market him to the Bible Belt because he's so religious. Granted, Tebow can't control how much attention the media gives him, but that doesn't make it any less annoying.

That would be a move worth *****ing about. I'd love to see how some of the homers would come out and defend the FO for signing a guy in his mid 30's who has never played organized football and has a collection of martial arts injuries.

I never bought that virgin stuff. He was king of the campus at UF and had to have hot college chicks throwing themselves at him. I don't care how Christian he is- there is only so much temptation a human can take.

I've never understood the Tebow hate.

It's not really hate in most cases. Tebow is dyslexic, never could read a defense, and falls back on his inaccurate windup throwing motion. Had he been open to changing position, he'd still be playing if he could catch, block and run as a fullback/TE/h-back. It's been a long time since college and the pro game just isn't that.

Choosing to play for the dysfunctional Jets effectively ended his career.

If they didn't want to pass, Tebow would have been perfect.
