Littman held us back for years.

May he rot in wherever his office is now.

He was doing Ralphs bidding and was rewarded with between 5-10% of the Pegula purchase price. He can buy a Gucci purse store with that $$.

It was probably all the $$ Ralph saved hiring cheap Head Coaches.

Rex would NEVER be considered under Ralph.

not sure rex would never be considered by ralph. i actually think that coaches like rex would never consider coming here knowing ralphs reputation.

I was thinking the same thing. Sad part about Leino though is that they needed his bloated contract to stuff the death ship with carcass to make it look like it had a live crew to anyone who didn't get close enough to see they were all propped up at their posts while pretending to sail.

It still was no great accounting masterwork when they could have stuffed it instead with fresher corpses who fall apart slower in the breeze and sun.

I'll reserve judgment until I see the result. I was happy about the Sabres spending at first too....4 years ago with these awesome results perpetually 2 years away.

Knox was a bigger hire than Ryan.

But wasn't expensive in 1978. When it came time for a 2nd contract and signing new players with talent, Ralph said No and Knox went to Seattle.

                    And guess why he left.

                    Over money.

Same as Saban. (How the **** his name is not on the Bills Wall of Fame is a testament to what a small, petty ***** Ralph could be).

You want to defend your boyfriend Ralph when it comes to paying players, at theist the argument isn't as asinine as claiming that he paid coaches and staff well (but still ridiculous).

It is a well known fact that Ralph hated paying non-players.

I give Ralph all the credit in the world for leaving all the money that he did to Buffalo and Detroit charities. But you're looking at his career as an owner through cherry Kool-Aid colored glasses.
