No really.

A blip among all the big names being reported, but Bills TE Lee Smith is expected to sign a big contract with another team tomorrow.

I'll be rolling on the floor if the Jets just grabbed another piece for poor cursed Gailey.

good blocking te. they need those pretty bad in this offense so they need to replace his skill set or his absence would definitely be noticeable

What is he gonna get? 2.5m per year with maybe 4m guaranteed?

I have no idea why we kept him last season anyway.

Get the F out.

Use one of the developmental linemen as a tight end. And they'll catch better and run faster besides.

He used to play for the Bills but disappeared after a freak accident in the endzone.

I'm glad to see he was finally rescued.

he usually was always mixing it up with a person on the other team after a fairly benign play. rarely got the flag for anything, but always needlessly mixing it up at the end of a play for the 5 snaps he'd take a game.

i can live without him.

I'm not sure why Smith gets knocked with penalties. He's nothing compared to Gresham, who gets chatted up here...

Ok - but he's a 3rd string TE who was in on 111 special teams snaps last season.

Bill Belichick is still laughing that the Bills gave this guy a job.
