Thank God Lee didn't go to the Pats*, he would have destroyed us.

We don't have to worry about him as much in Oakland/LA LMAO.

Need a blocking TE now though.

Need a blocking TE now though.

Seriously....they need to use their most athletic developmental lineman. Should use one as a fullback too. Try and stop that on 3rd and 1.

damn. If Lee Smith can get 3 million a year to be awful, imagine the possibilities.

I find it hard to believe Oakland GM Reggie McKenzie knows what he's doing and lasts longer than one more season.

Unreal Lee Smith was always great for a killer penalty.

IF he keeps making moves like this and the one's he did last offseason (minus the James Jones signing as I really wanted Jones here) he might not last much longer. As letting go of LaMarr Woodley after one year and signing a former Super Bowl MVP (who was a part time player in Seattle) sound like bad moves to me but what do I know.

Wow, that's about 8 million too much....are the Raiders struggling to reach the salary cap floor?

Mace

but what do I know.

More than McKenzie it sounds like. They have enough money to have gone after primo talent, not aging stopgaps and overpriced journeyman but it seems he's got no vision or plan.

More or less, yes.

That explains it...next thing we know it will be Justin Rogers for $3 million a year

Some of the name FA WRs may go for $3M per year.
